Michael Anthony Evans, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on Monday, May 9th, 2022.

Michael was a talented musician, song writer and rapper. He always made sure everyone was well taken care of and known to the people who loved him dearly, as a “Protector.” He possessed a laugh and smile that brightened every room he entered and inherited a talent of bringing friends and family closer together. As a young boy he enjoyed playing baseball and later graduated high school, followed by employment in the construction trade.

He is survived by parents Jody & Michael, Grandmother Lois, Great Grandmother Carol, Daughters Nylah, Arielle & Luna, whom he truly loves, Siblings Alisa, Luis and Arianna,Niece Mikayla, Nephew Luis Jr., Aunt Cherie & Uncle Alvin, Uncle Pat, Uncle Jim Jim, Aunt Susie, and Cousins Elias, Xavier, Cherylyn and Jimmy, and Step Father Peter, along with an extended family too long to list.

Mikey, you will certainly be missed but never forgotten. You will live in our hearts forever and we all love you.

We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name; In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again
