Obituary of Caterina Zingales

Caterina Zingales,87 (née Caterina Gaglio) loving wife and devoted mother passed away peacefully in her home on April 9th,2025. Caterina was pre-deceased by her loving husband John who passed away in 1987, as well as her son Charles 1995, her parents Michael and Antonia Gaglio, her sister Rosaria Nocilla and her brother Pino Gaglio. May they all rest in eternal peace. Caterina is survived by her children, Sara Sheehan, Marie & her husband Gerald Paradine, Suzette & her husband Anthony Basile, Cristobal Beiro & his wife Ashley, John Zingales, James Zingales & his wife Kelly, Megan & her husband Jeffery Valente. She is also survived by her brother Paul Gaglio & her sister Lillian D'Armetta. Caterina also leaves behind 15 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who she loved and adored. Caterina and her late husband John became Foster parents and have fostered over 100 children. Also, Caterina was awarded SI Woman of Achievement Award in 1994. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, big Sunday dinner's, Friday family card nights, taking trips to Atlantic City, going out to eat, taking ferry rides with her granddaughter Alexis to Manhattan. Caterina was a strong-willed woman with a big heart. She always lived life on her terms. She will be eternally loved and missed Family and friends may visit Matthew Funeral Home on Sunday 4/13 from 4-8 PM. Funeral departing the Matthew Funeral home on Monday 4/14 at 9AM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's Church on Monday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
