CAROLYN VIRGINIA ROBINSON, AGE 72
BORN OCTOBER 31, 1942 DECEASED OCTOBER 1, 2017
OBITUARY
Carol as she was known affectionately by many was born as Carol Southall in Richmond, Virginia to Harry Southall and Marie Miller. Carol was raised in Queens, NY where she lived with her aunt. As an adult she remained a long time resident in the Wavecrest Community of Far Rockaway, NY. She had 1 brother and 3 sisters. She was married 2 times, and boar 2 sons, Michael Robinson, Tyrone Hook and 3 daughters, Denise, India and Marie Hook by our father, Harry Williams. She has one Stepson, Harry Williams, Jr. (known by Chuck). She was a wonderful grandmother with 10 grandkids and she loved to spoil them all. Anthony Irving was her loyal and loving long time love and he was with her till the end. We are forever grateful to Anthony. Thank you to all her friends and everyone who has been responsible for her care. We owe them a great debt of gratitude for ensuring her health and well being. She was fun, friendly, kind, loving, happy and always on the go. She loved people and had many friends. Carol was always smiling and laughing but would constantly worry about family. She would always try to help anyone if they were in need with whatever she had to give. Our mother could not raise us because of her illness and many challenges, but we received all the boundless love, caring and everything that she could give that any child could want. She was always there for us during the birthdays, and holidays with kisses, hugs, gifts, cake and candy. We spent many summers visiting with her and enjoying her wonderful company as children. She was always surrounded by friends and family and constantly wanted her loved ones to be close to her. Our mother’s faith in GOD was never waiving and she proclaimed to everyone to live according to his testimony. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and will be greatly missed. Although, we have heavy hearts and are devastated by her sudden death, a big piece of her will live on in our hearts and minds. We are comforted by knowing that she will rest peacefully in God’s kingdom with power and glory. Carol will shine down her light from heaven and lovingly watch over us all. We are happy that she is safe in heaven and will not suffer any pain ever again. May she rest in peace, forever and ever! Amen
