Obituary of Eileen Mary Doran

Eileen M. Doran, 92 Beloved 'Aunt Eileen,' retired from General Motors Eileen M. Doran, 92, cherished aunt and great-aunt, went home to heaven on February 16th . She is survived by nieces and nephews Deborah Biancaniello-Lynch, Eileen Bruno, Charles, Schwarz, Catherine McGuire, including many more. She was predeceased by her parents Charlotte and John Doran, sisters Mary Ann Doran, Estelle Ohnmeiss, brothers John Doran, Frank Doran and nephew John Schwarz.. She was the matriarch and oldest child who helped raise three generations of children. Born in Manhattan, she attended ArchBishop Molloy High School. Aunt Eileen enjoyed cooking, sewing, travelling, reading, doing puzzles and most of all spending time with her family. Throughout the years she also enjoyed her summer homes in Crandon Lakes, NJ and Eagle Lake, PA. Eileen was also a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church, and was the treasurer for the Blessed Sacrament Seniors. She worked for the telephone company during WWll where she connected soldiers to their loved ones. She later joined General Motors Corp. for 30 years until her retirement in 1990.
