Gladys Trower Hines June 20, 1925 – July 15, 2016 Gladys Trower Hines went Home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2016, at the age of 91. Gladys was born in Cape Charles, Virginia on June 20, 1925. Gladys lived on Staten Island most of her adult years with her husband Claude Hines who went to glory on December 22, 1985. They were married on August 21, 1941. Gladys and Claude, raised three children Dolores Follins, survived by her two sons Henry D. Hines and Stewart D. Hines Sr. Gladys had ten Grandchildren: Lourdes F., Cassandra R., Joshua, Ashley, Jasmine, Alicia, Jessica, Stewart Dennis Jr., Robert Michael and John-Claude, and 13 Great Grandchildren, nephews and nieces of whom she loved dearly. Gladys was a Domestic Worker, she also worked in Housekeeping and Babysitting. She loved to bake, shop, attend her church (Mt. Calvary Holiness Church), read her Bible, listen to current events on the radio/television, and loved to sing and listen to her Gospel Music. Mom, you fought the good fight now it’s time to rest. Enjoy the mansion God had made for you and His presences day by day. You are whole and complete. No more sickness no more pain. We love you and do we miss you, but we know that one day we will meet again in heaven where we will see our Savior face to face.
