Elizabeth Lee passed on October 1st, 2021 in Staten Island, New York. She was 87. She was born Elizabeth Wilson in the county of Clarendon, South Carolina where she lived with her mother Katie Wilson and her three sisters Alma, Clara, and Rachel. In 1941 the family moved to Brooklyn New York. After completing her education at Irasamus Hall High School, she was manager at Kent Dry Cleaning Store where she met the love of her life John Lee. Once married the couple had four children, in 1968 the family relocated to Staten Island where their children were raised. Mrs. Lee eventually began working as a telephone operator with New York Telephone Company. She worked with this company for thirty-five years before retiring. In her past time she enjoyed hosting parties, cooking and taking trips to Atlantic City but most memorable was taking care of her family. Elizabeth Lee is predeceased by her husband of sixty-three years. Surviving are their four children Sylvester, Kenneth (Sonia), Belinda, and Derrick (Linda), along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
