Obituary of Patricia Krause

Patricia Laura Krause passed away suddenly at her home in Manchester NJ on October 24, 2021. Pat was born on December 7, 1944 on Staten Island, New York, attending St. Sylvester's Catholic School and graduating from Curtis High School. She was the youngest child of Thomas Sr. and Helen McLaughlin and is the beloved sister to Thomas Jr. (Sonny) and George. Before her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper for Dun & Bradstreet, Wilfred Beauty Academy and Golden Gate Nursing Home where she made strong, lifetime friendships. Upon retirement, she moved to Glens Falls NY before settling in Manchester NJ. In June of 1963, Pat married her devoted and loving husband Tom Krause on Staten Island where they raised their 3 children, Tom Jr, Kenny and Michelle. Pat not only was a devoted mother to her 3 children, she was also beloved Nanny to 7 grandchildren: Megan, Austin, Nick, Alexandra (Alex), Michael, Ryan and Rachel and great-grandmother to Jeanna, Jessalyn, Jayda, Jace, Madison, Jaxson and Christian. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews in the McLaughlin and Krause families along with her much beloved dog Dozer. Visitation will be held Thursday 3-7 PM at Scamardella Funeral Home with a Friday burial at Moravian Cemetery.
