Sylvania Lewis Obituary

Sylvy as she was affectionately known to those that knew and loved her, was born on May 3rd, 1960 in Laurinburg, NC to Annie Mae and Lacy Blue. Sylvy graduated from Susan Wagner HS, Staten Island New York then attended the College of SI for some time. Sylvy began her career with Catholic Sister's of Charity, now known as Richmond University Medical Center in 1987. Sylvy has received numerous accolades and certifications during her 35 years of service where she was still employed until her passing. Sylvy was baptized as a young child and life long member of Full Gospel Tabernacle on Castleton Avenue on Staten Island. Sylvy was an avid shopper and enjoyed a good sale. Sylvy enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts. Due to the lockdown because of COVID 19 Sylvy and her sisters Michelle and Keisha began a daily prayer line to pray for each other and what the entire world was experiencing.

Sylvania Kelly Lewis is survived by Eldest Symone, two sons, Winston, and Amir, Lester (her bonus son) Two grandchildren Jeremiah and Josiah. Sisters: Pat Blue, Millie Lee Moody, Sharon "Michelle" Ellis, Keisha Holbeck, Brother: Wallace Kelly. A host of: Aunts, Uncle's, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

Parents: Annie Mae & Lacy Blue

Brothers: Clyde, Michael, Barry, and Boyce.

Sister: Frowman "Lois" Lee
