Adeline Angell passed away in her sleep on March 29, 2023 at Egers Nursing home where she was a resident for 1 year. She was born in Staten Island NY on July 30 1929 to Vera and Areste Fedele the second of 3 children. Adeline graduated from Port Richmond high school and began working as a dance teacher at Master School of Dance in Jersey City NJ. Adeline went on to pursue a career in healthcare where she worked at Carmel Richmond nursing home as an aide and in the dietary unit. She also was a private healthcare worker for many families including Connie and Helen Princivale. Many would remember her for her piano teachings as she taught private piano lessons for family and friends. Adeline loved to travel with her best friend Jean and took many trips after retirement. Adeline was known for her famous potato salad at BBQ’s, and loved to bake breads for family and friends during the holidays. She was an expert seamstress sewing everything from coats to costumes, and gifted her children and grandchildren with special needle point Christmas table cloths. Adeline was the loving wife of the late Roland Angell who died at age 56. She is also preceded in death by her brother Frances Fedele. She is survived by her brother Ernest Fedele and her loving children Diane Meraglia, Donna LaPelusa, Roland Angell, and John Angell. She was the cherished grandmother of Julie Meraglia Parrella, Joseph LaPelusa, Lauren LaPelusa, Phyllis Neshimka, Roland Meraglia, Kelly DeMarco, Matthew Angell, Christopher Angell, and Alyssandra Puglisi. She was also the beloved G~G to Victoria, Michael, Adeline, John, Nina, Benjamin, James, Jack, and Christopher. Adeline is also remembered dearly by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family asks a donation be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
