Obituary of Kathy Harisiades

Please share a memory of Kathy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathy Harisiades, beloved wife and mother, entered into God’s Kingdom on July 7, 2023. Kathy was born to Marco Conti and Mary Santone on July 20, 1953, in Staten Island, NY. She attended Curtis High School and graduated with a Licenced Practical Nurse credential. After graduating, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Staten Island University Hospital. In 1978, Kathy met Kevin Harisiades, a match truly made in heaven. After several years of friendship, they married in 1984. Even though Kathy and Kevin never had children of their own, their lives were filled with love as they parented a blended family with Kevin’s daughter, Karen, and Kathy’s nephew, Michael. Kathy’s heart filled with joy every time she talked about her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Kathy joins her father, Marco, her mother, Mary, and her sister, Barbara, in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including her husband, Kevin, daughter, Karen, “son”, Michael, and her grandchildren Michael, Gianna, Nicholas, David, Peter, and Rebecca. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY, 10301, or online at bit.ly/rememberkathy. Please make note that the donation is in memory of Kathy Harisiades.
