Carol Little Obituary

Carol Little, resident of Staten Island, New York fell asleep in death March 27, 2024.

Carol was born in Manhattan, New York the second of seven children to Minnie and Samuel Little on July 26, 1942.

Early in life Carol dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on October 17, 1959. Throughout her life she had the privilege of serving with the Port Richmond, West New Brighton and New Springville congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She remained a member of the New Springville congregation until her death.

A graduate of McKee High School and Southwest College, Carol went on the work for Willowbrook State School and as an E.K.G. technician for St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Later in life, Carol enjoyed working in the kitchen of her senior citizens complex, Cassidy Coles. This was most fitting as most who knew Carol can attest to the fact that she loved to cook. Perhaps even more than cooking Carol loved to share the meals she prepared with others. Among the memories her loved ones are left to cherish are impromptu dinners at her home where all, be they friends, family or friends of family were able to eat to their hearts’ content, or until they needed a quick nap.

From Greyhound Bus trips to Carol patiently waiting in a school auditorium for hours to ensure her niece’s safety on September 11, Carol leaves behind a bevy of memories for her family.

Those left to be comforted by these memories include her devoted son, Dana Davis, nephew, yet chosen son Samuel Martin, siblings, Letheda Pulliam, Nathaniel Little Sr., Doelta Little, Sheila Little, sister-in-law Rachel Little, beloved granddaughter Danae Davis, a tribe of nieces and nephews and many friends.
