Donald B. Wylie, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on December 9, 1960, Donald lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. A Staten Island resident, Donald will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Leslie; his daughter, Felicia Wylie, Danielle Aponte and his cherished grandchildren, Alexis Wylie and Daniel Hickey Junior. He is also survived by his mother, Audrey Vasquez; sisters, Audrey Commisky and Nancy Wylie; and brother, Jimmy Wylie. Donald's passions included the thrill of wrestling and the joy of summer concerts at the beach, where he would soak up the sun and music with loved ones. With a heart of gold and a spirit that touched countless lives, Donald will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy will live on through the countless memories and moments he shared with those who loved him. Rest in peace, Donald. Your love and light will never fade.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, 8/7, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, 8/6, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
